About Us
The University of Michigan DIII ACHA Club Hockey Team is a Division III member of the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) in the Michigan Collegiate Hockey Conference (MCHC). The MCHC has produced twelve National Championship teams, the most of any Division 3 conference, and consists of 16 teams across two divisions who boast a competetive brand of hockey.
Each year the team competes in 27-30 regular season games and continues to be a top program, earning back to back auto-bids to the National Tournament, as well as the number 1 overall seed for the 2020 National Tournament before the season was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Each season the team takes two big trips, and they have a locker room at Canton Arctic Edge. The Wolverines have had over 25 Academic All-Americans in the last 5 seasons. The program allows and encourages individuals to take part in other University activities.
